Thermal Imaging (Thermography)

Thermography uses a thermal camera to inspect electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as process variations. The camera produces a temperature distribution map that shows heat patterns across the surface of the component or process of interest.

For ATEX or HazLoc areas, thermography helps confirm surface temperatures are within limits and that no unsafe friction points exist inside guards.

Results are documented so maintenance teams can prioritise repairs and mitigate safety risks without interrupting production.

Process Systems & Equipment

Thermal gradients help diagnose energy losses, flow anomalies, failed steam traps, insulation defects, and refractory breakdown that affect process quality and efficiency.

Vessels often show clear contrast between contents and ambient air, which can be used as a complementary level indication method.
